About the Role
We are seeking a Company Driver to operate our fleet out of our yard in Obetz, Ohio, with plans to expand to a future terminal in the same location. This position offers the opportunity to service 47 states, excluding California, with a seasonal preference to avoid the Northwest during winter months. The role is built on customer needs rather than dedicated routes, though we are actively working to build dedicated opportunities through our sister logistics company.
You will drive well-maintained, 2020 newer sleeper trucks equipped for drop hook and no-touch freight. As a company driver, all equipment is provided and maintained at no cost to you. If you have secure parking, you may take the equipment home. Our dispatch team is forceful yet flexible, capable of accommodating your home time needs and preferred schedules for those who are super organized and communicative.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a full-time W-2 position with a comprehensive benefits package, including a 401(k) with company contribution, medical coverage through Cigna, and vision and dental insurance through Principal. Drivers also receive paid time off and holidays off.
Our compensation structure is designed for fair pay and support:
- Detention Pay: $25 per hour after 2 hours at the facility.
- Breakdown Support: $200 per day for any breakdown or maintenance on the road.
- Holiday Pay: An additional $50 on top of regular revenue for work performed on observed holidays.
- Deadhead Rates: Low mileage rates are added to ensure fair compensation.
- Earnings Potential: Maximum weekly earnings of $1,000.
We also welcome pet passengers, subject to policy.
Hiring Requirements
To join our team, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a valid CDL A license with at least 3 years of experience.
- Be between 25 and 75 years of age (insurance requirements).
- Maintain a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with less than 1 moving violation in the last 2 years.
- Have no Drug Test (DT) failures or Controlled Substance (CH) violations in the last 15 years.
