About the Role
We are seeking a Company Driver to operate our fleet out of our yard in Obetz, OH, with plans to expand to a future terminal in the same location. This position offers the opportunity to service 47 states, excluding California, with a strategic effort to avoid the Northwest during winter months. The role is built on customer needs rather than dedicated routes, though we actively work to build dedicated opportunities through our sister logistics company.
Equipment and Operations
Drivers operate 2020 newer sleeper trucks that are company-owned and well-maintained. We utilize a drop-hook, no-touch freight model. Drivers may take home equipment if they have secure parking available. Dispatch is force-based but remains flexible to accommodate needed home time and schedule preferences for super-organized and communicative drivers.
Compensation and Benefits
As a Company Driver, you receive a truck at no cost. Compensation includes low mileage rates for fair compensation, detention pay of $25 per hour after two hours at a facility, and a breakdown/maintenance allowance of $200 per day. The role offers a maximum weekly earning potential of $1,000. We offer full-time W-2 benefits including a 401(k) with company contribution, medical coverage through Cigna, and vision/dental through Principal. Paid time off and holidays are provided, with an additional $50 bonus for work performed on observed holidays. We also maintain a pet passenger policy.
Hiring Requirements
To join our team, candidates must hold a valid CDL A license with at least three years of experience. Drivers must be between the ages of 25 and 75. A clean driving record is required, specifically less than one moving violation in the last two years and no Drug Testing (DT) failures or Controlled Substance (CH) violations in the last 15 years.
