CDL A OTR Truck Drivers

About the Role

We are seeking a Company Driver to operate our yard in Obetz, OH, with plans to expand to a future terminal in the same location. As a Company Driver, you will operate company-owned, well-maintained 2020+ sleeper trucks. We provide the truck at no cost to you, and if you have secure parking, you may take the equipment home.

Your primary route will cover 47 states, excluding California. During winter months, we aim to avoid the Northwest states. While the work is currently based on customer needs without dedicated lanes, we are actively working to build more dedicated opportunities through our sister logistics company.

Day in the Life

You will typically be out for two weeks at a time, handling drop-hook, no-touch freight. Our dispatch team is forceful yet flexible; they are super organized and communicative, capable of accommodating your needed home time and schedule preferences. We offer fair compensation with low mileage rates and a deadhead rate of $200 per day for any breakdown or maintenance on the road, with a maximum weekly earning potential of $1,000.

We value your time and safety. If you face detention at a facility exceeding two hours, you will receive $25 per hour. Additionally, if you are working on an observed holiday, you will receive an extra $50 on top of your regular revenue. We also welcome pet passengers under our pet passenger policies.

Hiring Process & Requirements

To join our team, candidates must possess a valid CDL A license with at least 3 years of experience. Applicants must be at least 25 years old and under 75 (due to insurance regulations). We require a clean driving record with less than one moving violation in the last two years and no Drug Testing (DT) failures or Controlled Substance (CH) violations in the past 15 years.
