About the Role
We are seeking a Company Driver to operate our fleet out of our yard in Obetz, Ohio. As a Company Driver, you will be provided with a 2020 newer sleeper truck at no cost to you. All equipment is company-owned and meticulously maintained to ensure your safety and efficiency on the road.
This position offers a dynamic route structure servicing 47 states, excluding California. While the work is primarily based on customer needs rather than dedicated lanes, we are actively working to build more dedicated opportunities through our sister logistics company. Drivers are generally out for two weeks at a time. During winter months, we strive to avoid the Northwest states to ensure safe driving conditions.
Day in the Life
You will be handling drop-hook, no-touch freight, allowing you to focus on driving and logistics. Our dispatch team is forceful yet flexible; we understand the need for home time and different schedules and will work to accommodate your needs if you are super organized and communicative. If you have secure parking, you may even take the equipment home.
We prioritize fair compensation for your time and effort. This includes detention pay of $25 per hour after two hours at a facility, low mileage rates, and a breakdown/maintenance allowance of $200 per day while on the road. Additionally, if you are working on an observed holiday, you will receive an extra $50 on top of your regular revenue. The potential earnings can reach up to $1,000 a week.
