About the Role
We are seeking a Company Driver to operate our yard in Obetz, OH, with the vision of expanding into a future terminal in the same location. As a Company Driver, you will operate company-owned, well-maintained 2020+ sleeper trucks. We provide the truck at no cost to you, and if you have secure parking, you may take the equipment home.
Your primary mission is to service 47 states based on customer needs, with no dedicated routes initially. While we do not service California and aim to avoid the Northwest states during winter months, our goal is to build dedicated opportunities through our sister logistics company. The freight is drop-hook and no-touch, ensuring a focus on efficient logistics.
Compensation & Benefits
We offer a competitive W-2 package designed to support your livelihood. Drivers receive a maximum of $1,000 per week, with low mileage rates added for fair compensation. We also provide $200 per day for any breakdown or maintenance occurring on the road and a detention pay of $25 per hour after the first two hours at a facility. If you work on an observed holiday, you earn an additional $50 on top of your regular revenue.
Our full-time benefits package includes a 401k with company contribution, medical coverage through Cigna, and vision and dental insurance through Principal. We also offer paid time off and holidays.
Team Culture & Requirements
Our dispatch force is organized and communicative, balancing operational needs with flexibility. We strive to accommodate needed home time and different schedules to support your work-life balance. To join our team, you must hold a valid CDL A license with at least three years of experience. Drivers must be between the ages of 25 and 75 (due to insurance requirements) and maintain a clean driving record, specifically with less than one moving violation in the last two years and no DOT failures or CH violations in the last 15 years.
