CDL A OTR Truck Drivers

About the Role

We are seeking a Company Driver to operate our yard in Obetz, OH, with the potential to support our future terminal in the same location. This is a full-time W-2 position where we provide the truck at no cost to you. All equipment is company-owned and meticulously maintained, featuring 2020 newer sleeper trucks.

Your primary mission is to service 47 states based on customer needs, with no dedicated routes initially. While we do not service California and aim to avoid the Northwest states during winter months, our dispatch team is flexible and organized. We are actively working to build more dedicated opportunities through our sister logistics company, offering a pathway for growth within the organization.

Day in the Life

As a driver, you will handle drop-hook, no-touch freight. The role offers a balance of independence and support; you can take home equipment if you have secure parking available. Our dispatch force is known for being super organized and communicative, accommodating needed home time and different schedules to ensure a sustainable work-life balance.

We prioritize fair compensation with low mileage rates and offer $200 per day for any breakdown or maintenance issues encountered on the road. Additionally, drivers receive $25 per hour in detention pay after the first two hours at a facility. If you are working on an observed holiday, you will receive an extra $0 bonus on top of your regular revenue.

Hiring Process

To join our team, candidates must possess a valid CDL A license with at least 3 years of experience. Applicants must be between 25 and 75 years old. We require a clean driving record, specifically less than one moving violation in the last two years and no Drug Testing (DT) failures or Controlled Substance (CH) violations in the last 15 years.
