About the Role
We are seeking experienced Company Drivers to operate our fleet out of our yard in Obetz, Ohio. This position offers the opportunity to service 47 states, excluding California, with a strategic focus on avoiding the Northwest during winter months. While the work is currently based on customer needs rather than dedicated routes, we are actively building dedicated opportunities through our sister logistics company.
Equipment and Operations
Drivers operate 2020 or newer sleeper trucks that are company-owned and meticulously maintained. We utilize a drop-hook, no-touch freight model to ensure efficiency. Drivers may take their equipment home if they have secure parking available. Our dispatch team is forceful yet flexible, accommodating needed home time and different schedules for those who are super organized and communicative.
Compensation and Benefits
As a Company Driver, you receive a truck at no cost. Compensation includes low mileage rates for fair pay, detention pay of $25 per hour after two hours at a facility, and a $200 daily stipend for any breakdown or maintenance on the road. There is a maximum weekly earning cap of $1,000. Additionally, drivers receive $50 on top of regular revenue for working on observed holidays.
We offer full-time W-2 benefits including a 401(k) with company contribution, medical coverage through Cigna, and vision and dental insurance through Principal. Paid time off and holidays are also provided. We welcome pet passengers in our trucks.
Hiring Process
Candidates must meet specific safety and experience criteria, including a minimum of 3 years of CDL A experience and being between the ages of 25 and 75. Applicants must have fewer than one moving violation in the last two years and no drug test failures or CDL violations in the last 15 years.
