CDL A OTR Truck Drivers

About the Role

We are seeking a Company Driver to operate our fleet out of our yard in Obetz, Ohio, with plans to expand to a future terminal in the same location. As a Company Driver, you will operate company-owned, well-maintained 2020+ sleeper trucks. We provide the truck at no cost to you, and if you have secure parking, you may take the equipment home.

Your primary route will cover 47 states, excluding California. During winter months, we aim to avoid the Northwest region. While the work is currently based on customer needs rather than dedicated lanes, we are actively working to build more dedicated opportunities, supported by our sister logistics company.

Day in the Life

You can expect to be out for approximately two weeks at a time. The role involves drop-and-hook operations with no-touch freight. Our dispatch team is force-based but remains flexible; they are super organized and communicative, capable of accommodating your schedule and home time needs.

We prioritize fair compensation with low mileage rates and offer a $200 per day stipend for any breakdowns or maintenance required while on the road. Additionally, drivers receive $25 per hour in detention pay after the first two hours at a facility. If you work on an observed holiday, you will receive an extra $0.50 on top of your regular revenue.

Hiring Process

To join our team, you must meet the following criteria: hold a valid CDL A license with at least 3 years of experience, be between 25 and 75 years of age, and maintain a Motor Vehicle Record with fewer than one moving violation in the last two years. Additionally, you must have no Drug Test failures or CDL violations in the past 15 years.
