About the Role
As a CDL-A Delivery Driver, you will be the backbone of our operations, moving product to ensure our partners are supplied. This role is for those who are safety-focused, reliable, adaptable, and dedicated. You will apply your knowledge of commercial driving regulations to maneuver tractor-trailers on the road and on customer premises, ensuring every delivery is handled with precision.
Your day involves inspecting the tractor-trailer for defects before and after trips, submitting DOT inspection reports, and verifying the accuracy of bills of lading and store keys for off-hour deliveries. You will maintain driver logs according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipts, product temperatures, and any exceptions. Finally, you will unload trailers and deliver products directly into customer premises, ensuring the supply chain continues to move America forward.
