About the Role
We are seeking a results-driven Driver Recruiter to spearhead the acquisition of CDL drivers for our growing fleet. This role is critical to maintaining our operational capacity and ensuring we have a reliable workforce to meet customer demands. You will own the full recruiting lifecycle, from sourcing talent through diverse channels to coordinating onboarding and tracking key performance metrics. Your work will directly impact our ability to scale while upholding the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance.
In this position, you will act as the primary face of our company at job fairs and local recruiting events. You will navigate the complexities of DOT/FMCSA regulations to qualify candidates, manage their progression through interviews and testing, and negotiate offers to secure top talent. Success in this role requires a dynamic presence and the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleSource drivers via job boards, social media, referrals, driving schools, and events
- check_circleConduct structured phone screens and qualify driver candidates per DOT/FMCSA requirements
- check_circleSchedule interviews, road tests, drug/alcohol testing, MVR/background checks, and onboarding appointments
- check_circleManage candidates in the ATS and maintain accurate driver qualification files
- check_circlePresent offers, negotiate, and close candidates to meet hiring targets
- check_circleRepresent the company at job fairs and local recruiting events
- check_circleReport recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, offer acceptance, cost-per-hire, and retention rates
Requirements
- verified2+ years recruiting experience
- verifiedWorking knowledge of DOT/FMCSA driver qualification rules
- verifiedValid driver's license
- verifiedBilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
Nice to Have
Experience recruiting CDL drivers. Possession of a CDL. Bilingual in Spanish and English.
