You will run over-the-road refrigerated freight, ensuring product quality is maintained by monitoring reefer temperatures and adhering to all FMCSA regulations. This role involves transporting freight across regional and national lanes, requiring you to drive in all weather, traffic, and terrain conditions. You will be responsible for performing pretrip, enroute, and post-trip inspections, maintaining accurate logs and documentation, and communicating professionally with dispatch and customers. The position also includes loading and unloading as needed and performing physical tasks such as bending, squatting, and checking components under the trailer.
We offer a compensation structure designed to reward longevity and performance, including a $1,400 weekly guarantee and starting rates of 62 CPM on practical miles. Drivers can easily out-earn this guarantee with additional incentives such as quarterly safety and performance bonuses, per diem, extended delivery pay, layover pay, and immediate detention pay on all loads. We provide premium equipment, including 2023 and newer Freightliners and Kenworths equipped with APUs, inverters, and refrigerators, along with free SiriusXM in every truck.
We arrange and pay for your travel to orientation, which is a paid event. To apply, you must meet the standard requirements, including holding a CDL-A for at least 12 months, being at least 21 years of age, and passing a FMCSA DOT pre-employment drug screen. Candidates must have no major MVR or CSA violations within the last 3 years and no DUI/DWI convictions in the past 5 years.
