About the Role

Our Panera Bread cafes are upscale, friendly environments featuring baked breads and pastries, made-to-order soups, salads, and sandwiches, as well as specialty espresso beverages. We are known for our artisan breads and quality food, resulting in a grease and alcohol-free environment for our associates. A key differentiator is our "No Fryers and No Late Nights" policy; while we hope you are a morning person, this role offers a schedule without late nights.

As a Catering Lead, you will be part of something special, connecting with amazing customers, impacting our growing business, and serving local communities across the country. This is a great opportunity to begin developing your skills in catering and sales, and to prepare for a potential career path in catering with Panera. You will process, prepare, and deliver orders, organize teams for large catering events, and manage existing accounts to ensure ongoing repeat sales. You will work closely with café teams and the Regional Catering Sales Manager to uncover and pursue additional business, creating targeted game plans that involve strategic planning, cold calling, and effective closing sales techniques.
