About the Role

Our Panera Bread cafes are upscale, friendly environments featuring artisan baked breads, made-to-order soups, salads, and sandwiches, along with specialty espresso beverages. We pride ourselves on a grease and alcohol-free environment with no fryers and no late nights. As a Catering Lead, you will be part of something special, connecting with amazing customers and serving local communities across the country.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop skills in catering and sales while preparing for a potential career path within Panera. You will process, prepare, and deliver orders to clients, assisting in organizing teams to execute large catering orders. Your focus will be on providing excellent customer service by following up with customers after orders are complete and promptly addressing all requests. You will manage existing accounts to ensure ongoing repeat sales and work closely with café teams and the Regional Catering Sales Manager to uncover and pursue additional business. This involves creating targeted game plans for increasing catering sales through strategic planning, cold calling, and effective closing techniques.
