As a Case Manager under the supervision of the Director of Social Service, you will serve as a vital advocate for families navigating complex housing and social service systems. This role exists to ensure compliance with program parameters while actively working to restore family independence. You will guide clients through the entire journey of housing stability, from initial needs assessment and Section 8 applications to lease signing and move-in support.
Your day will involve conducting intakes and home visits, holding bi-weekly interviews, and coordinating with landlords, brokers, and government agencies. You will provide crisis intervention, educate participants on housekeeping and budgeting, and maintain detailed records of all client interactions. By connecting families with essential resources and advocating on their behalf, you will help transform their lives and strengthen the communities we serve.
