The Ag CAS Accounting Manager is a leadership position designed for an ambitious, detail-oriented accounting professional with a passion for client service and an entrepreneurial spirit. This role provides the opportunity to work directly with A-level client contacts, gain exposure to a variety of industries, and operate within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
In this position, you will lead and manage multiple engagements simultaneously, developing work plans, project timelines, and key milestones. You will perform and review core finance and accounting functions, including account reconciliations, month-end close procedures, and the preparation of financial statements. A key aspect of the role is providing Outsourced Controller services for A-level clients and executing quality control processes to ensure consistency and accuracy across the department.
Beyond daily operations, you will supervise CAS staff (internal or external), manage regulatory requirements, and identify client issues to recommend solutions. This role also offers the chance to assist with ad-hoc tax and consulting engagements, take ownership of internal firm initiatives, and help leadership develop and implement best practices to position the department for growth. The position may occasionally require extended hours and weekends, though a 40-hour work week is typically expected, rewarding efficiency and productivity.
We are committed to finding the right fit for our team. Candidates who meet the required experience and education criteria will be invited to discuss their background and how their skills align with our mission. The process focuses on identifying individuals who can thrive in our collaborative environment and contribute to our culture of growth.
