The Ag CAS Accounting Manager serves as a leader within our Agricultural Client Accounting Services (CAS) department, tasked with managing various aspects of engagement responsibilities for our A-level clients. This role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with high-level client contacts in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while gaining exposure to a variety of industries.
In this position, you will take a leadership role in the quality control of our Ag CAS department work. You will ensure new client setups are completed and maintained properly to deliver a seamless product to professional staff for consulting, estimates, and tax preparation. A key part of your mission is building consistency in processes and team results, regardless of who is assigned to the engagement. You will also identify necessary process improvements and submit them to team leadership for approval, holding the Ag CAS team accountable to meet these objectives.
Beyond quality control, you will oversee the day-to-day management of client engagements, supervise accounting staff, and assist with ad-hoc tax and consulting engagements. This role is ideal for an ambitious, detail-oriented accounting professional with a passion for client service and an entrepreneurial spirit. You will have the opportunity to expand your professional knowledge by working across multiple Adams Brown lines of service and help firm leadership develop best practices to position our department for growth.
