Join our Big Island Habilitation Team as a Caregiver (Habilitation Technician). This role is designed for recent graduates, Paraprofessionals, Direct Support Professionals, Personal Care Aides, Nurse's Aides, and those with personal caregiving experience who are passionate about working with individuals with IDD.
You will provide compassionate 1:1 support in the home and community, embodying empathy and respect in every interaction. Your day will involve spending time on the client's favorite hobbies, assisting with everyday tasks like meal preparation, and participating in community integration activities, errands, and appointments. You will patiently teach, encourage, and celebrate small achievements, giving people the space to grow. The role offers the opportunity to enhance your skills with support from on-staff nurses and managers, while enjoying flexible scheduling and short commute times matching you to opportunities in your local community.
