As a Weekend Caregiver/Home Health Aide, you will be a vital member of an interdisciplinary team providing hands-on personal care in the home setting. This role exists to help seniors live safely and comfortably in their own homes by assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, and companionship. You will also support clients with ambulation, transferring, and range of motion exercises, while ensuring a safe environment with unobstructed pathways.
In this position, you act as an extension of therapy or nursing services by reporting changes in the client's condition, providing medication reminders, and documenting observations. Your day will be filled with meaningful interactions, from helping with light housekeeping and transportation to participating in activities that bring clients joy, such as puzzles, games, and reading. Weekend hours (Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday) are available, allowing you to pick a schedule that fits your needs.
We offer flexible assignments so you can choose the location closest to home. Beyond a competitive pay rate of $17 an hour with options for same-day or next-day pay, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, as well as a 401(k)/Roth and an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). We also offer paid time off, sick leave, and performance-based pay increases.
Interim HealthCare provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, gender, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, or veteran status.
