Mentor Community Services, part of the Sevita family, has been dedicated to providing home and community-based specialized health care for over 50 years. Our mission is to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities live full, independent lives through quality services and individualized supports. With 40,000 team members serving 50,000 individuals across the U.S., we are a mission-driven organization where every person deserves a fulfilling career.
We are seeking weekend caregivers for our beautiful Scottsdale group home to join a supportive team of three. This role is designed for those who find deep meaning in building real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve. You will be part of a close-knit environment where three members enjoy going out, visiting the salon, and attending church on Sundays.
The group home features a pool, basketball court, and beanbag toss, offering plenty of opportunities for you to engage with residents in their favorite activities. You will work alongside two other caregivers on your shift, ensuring a collaborative environment where you can take initiative to support participants in their developmental goals, such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. While you will assist with personal hygiene and support individuals with behavioral challenges or complex needs, you will also be trusted with ownership to do what is right for the participants.
