UnitedHealth Group is dedicated to helping people live healthier lives and making the health system work better for everyone. As part of the Optum family, we are committed to mitigating barriers to good health, particularly for people of color, historically marginalized groups, and those with lower incomes. Our mission is to deliver equitable care that addresses health disparities and improves outcomes for all.
As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide essential support and assistance with personal hygiene and household functions, enabling individuals to remain safely in their own homes. This role is vital to our culture of caring, fostering meaningful connections with patients, their families, and the communities we serve.
You will be the steady presence that allows clients to maintain their independence. Your day will involve assisting with activities of daily living, from bathing and grooming to preparing meals and accompanying clients to medical appointments. You will be challenged to succeed in a clear, supportive environment that offers development opportunities for future roles within the organization.
