This position is based at our Deer Creek site in Wichita Falls, TX. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support within a residential setting or periodic program. You will typically support 4 to 6 individuals, helping them navigate daily life, socialize, and develop skills. Your role is vital in ensuring that the individuals you serve receive the personalized attention they need to grow and thrive.
You will work a rotating shift schedule (10p-8:30a) with flexibility regarding weekends. This role involves more than just task completion; it is about building trust and fostering independence. You will assist with personal care, medication administration, meal preparation, and community integration activities like shopping and transportation. Whether you are accompanying an individual to a medical appointment or helping them manage their budget, your presence makes a difference in their quality of life.

Once hired, you will attend orientation and complete all state-mandated training and certifications within the required timeframes.
