About the Role

As a Care Manager at Sunrise of New Dorp, you will serve as a vital link in our assisted living and reminiscence neighborhoods. Your mission is to provide the highest degree of quality care and services to a consistent group of residents and their families. You will go beyond standard duties to offer hands-on physical and emotional support, ensuring each resident's Individualized Service Plan (ISP) is honored while maintaining a safe, comfortable, home-like environment.

In this role, you will be the face of Sunrise hospitality. You will greet guests and families, respond promptly to call bells, and engage residents in life skills and enrichment activities. Whether you are assisting with daily living tasks, managing housekeeping and dining services, or observing changes in a resident's condition, your empathy and attention to detail will create a calm, warm atmosphere. You will strive to understand each resident's unique communication patterns and history, ensuring their dignity and independence are always respected.
