Barrow Brain and Spine is a physician-owned specialty practice dedicated to neurosurgery and advanced spine care. As a globally recognized group, we employ 27 neurosurgeons and three physiatrists, performing over 8,000 surgeries annually. Our practice directs the Neurosurgery Residency Program at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona, and serves more than 21,000 patients each year.

About the Role
As a Care Coordinator, you will be the vital link between our physicians and patients, performing a variety of clerical and customer service functions to ensure a seamless clinic experience. You will act as an ambassador for the practice, providing exemplary service to patients, families, and visitors while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
Your day will involve managing the flow of the clinic, from greeting and rooming patients to recording vitals and preparing clinical summaries. You will ensure that all necessary documentation, including lab slips and radiology reports, is ready for physician review before patient arrival. Additionally, you will handle scheduling, coordinate referrals for tests and consultations, and maintain clinic inventory. This role requires you to operate with limited oversight, demonstrating strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to continuity of care.
