At Bayer, we are visionaries driven to solve the world's toughest challenges, striving for a world where 'Health for all, Hunger for none' is no longer a dream, but a real possibility. We approach this mission with energy, curiosity, and sheer dedication, always learning from unique perspectives to expand our thinking and redefine 'impossible'. We offer a community of brilliant and diverse minds where you can build a varied and meaningful career to make a real difference.
As a Cardiorenal Associate Director of Regional Marketing, you will serve as a strategic champion within the field-based Product & Portfolio Squad. Your primary focus is to engage and develop Thought Leaders (TLs) in the cardiovascular-renal-metabolic health space, generate critical insights for strategic decision-making, and execute regional programs for Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) across Northern California, primarily San Francisco.
This role exists to bridge the gap between national brand strategy and local execution. You will act as a key liaison between the brand team, sales consultants, and external experts, ensuring that regional marketing initiatives align with strategic imperatives to drive brand growth. The position requires a deep understanding of the local landscape, including opinion leaders, treatment trends, and payer dynamics, while leveraging your clinical expertise to challenge and advance TL thinking.
Your day-to-day involves a dynamic mix of high-level strategy and field execution. You will cultivate deep relationships with academic centers and key accounts, identifying emerging leaders to drive peer influence and institutional decision-making. A significant portion of your time will be spent at congresses and regional conventions, where you will coordinate company presence, lead TL meetings, and support senior leadership encounters.
You will also lead peer-to-peer (P2P) programs and advisory boards, collaborating with agency partners and internal teams to create innovative speaker content and harvest actionable insights. This role demands a proactive, results-oriented mindset, requiring you to work independently while effectively collaborating cross-functionally to navigate a fast-paced environment. With up to 50% travel within the territory, you will be on the front lines, engaging customers at conferences, advocacy events, and internal meetings.
If you are motivated by a challenging task and want to impact our mission, we encourage you to apply now. To apply, please submit your resume through our official career portal. We review applications on a rolling basis until at least February 25, 2026.
