About the Role

This position serves as the primary commander and pilot for the Corporation's aircraft, ensuring safe, secure, and expedited air travel for personnel worldwide. The role carries complete responsibility for the airworthy condition of the aircraft and the well-being of all crew and passengers during flight operations.

As the pilot in command, you will exercise absolute authority over flight operations while maintaining rigorous compliance with FAA regulations, safety protocols, and legal requirements. The position requires a high degree of professionalism and proficiency in managing all aspects of flight logistics, including flight planning, fuel procurement, catering, and coordination of air and ground requirements. You will act as the central communication link between aircrew, dispatch, maintenance teams, and passengers, ensuring seamless operations across global destinations.

Beyond flight duties, this role involves maintaining precise aircraft records and forms as mandated by the Aircraft Division and the FAA. You will also perform additional management tasks as assigned by the General Manager of the Aircraft Division, leveraging your thorough understanding of the Corporation's specific aircraft systems to support operational excellence.

Work Environment

This role demands extensive travel, often during non-typical working hours, to meet the dynamic needs of the Corporation. The position requires a working knowledge of computers, mobile devices, and internet-based applications to facilitate effective communication through verbal, written, and electronic means. Physical demands include the ability to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds to support aircraft and passenger needs.

Application Instructions

Candidates must possess a valid FAA Airline Transport Pilot Rating with appropriate type, class, category, and competency certificates, along with a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate and FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operators Permit. A valid U.S. passport with no restrictions is also required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel), Oracle invoicing, and ForeFlight is essential. While 15+ years of experience is required, a minimum of 4,000 flight hours and a four-year degree (or an approved waiver) are preferred. Experience in business flight operations or military aviation, with diversified domestic and international travel, is highly valued.
