As a Pilot-in-Command on RTX Flight, you will be the driving force behind the safe transport of passengers, material, and aircraft. This role is critical to our mission, requiring you to exercise sound judgment and maintain situational awareness at all times, both in the air and on the ground. You will execute all flights in strict accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and RTX Flight policies, utilizing professional flying and flight planning skills.
Your day-to-day involves leveraging Crew Resource Management to ensure all available resources—from checklists and instrumentation to ATC and fellow crewmembers—are utilized effectively. You will maintain a thorough knowledge of aircraft systems, flight procedures, and international regulations while ensuring flight currency. As the final authority on the trip, you are responsible for the safety of the passengers and aircraft, monitoring crew adherence to standards, and coaching associates to higher levels of performance.
This position is classified as Onsite, located in East Granby, CT. Employees in onsite roles work primarily on-site as they are essential to the development of our products. Please note that as part of our commitment to a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid, or remote.
Candidates must be U.S. Citizens, U.S. Persons, or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for immigration sponsorship. Additionally, all RTX Flight pilots must maintain their primary residence within one hour driving distance of their assigned base of operations and be able to travel worldwide without restriction.
