About the Role
The SAP Full Stack Developer serves as a critical architect for Canada Life's enterprise platform modernization. This role is designed to bridge the gap between legacy systems and modern cloud capabilities, enabling the seamless integration of SAP S/4HANA and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). You will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and support of solutions that drive business value across the organization.
Day in the Life
In this position, you will collaborate closely with functional, data, and integration teams within Agile delivery models. Your work involves building robust backend services, designing complex data models, and creating intuitive frontend applications using SAP UI5 Fiori. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to designing and implementing APIs that connect SAP ecosystems with non-SAP systems, ensuring secure and high-performance data exchange.
As a Senior Developer, you will also lead solution design and architecture efforts, acting as a technical lead to ensure quality and compliance. You will engage in performance tuning of SAP HANA Cloud environments, manage security protocols including OAuth2 and JWT flows, and oversee the deployment lifecycle from unit testing through to production.
