Cafeteria Supervisor (189 Days)

About the Role

As a Senior Cafeteria Manager for Dallas Independent School District, you will lead the daily operations of a school cafeteria, ensuring that every student receives a well-balanced and nutritious meal. This role is critical to the district's mission of supporting student health and academic success through high-quality food service. You will manage the preparation and delivery of meals using standardized recipes, while maintaining strict adherence to federal, state, and local safety and sanitation regulations.

In this position, you will supervise cafeteria staff, overseeing everything from interviewing and training to performance appraisals and conflict resolution. Your day will involve coordinating food requisitions, managing inventory, and maintaining detailed records for program accountability. You will serve as the primary point of contact for resolving operational issues, communicating complex challenges to central staff when necessary, and ensuring the cafeteria environment remains safe and efficient for both students and employees.
