About the Role

As a Nutrition Assistant, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality, safe, and efficient food services to our patients and staff. Your daily work involves preparing and delivering meal trays, assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring strict food safety compliance. Beyond the kitchen, you will interact directly with patients regarding their dietary needs, contributing to a positive dining experience.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong food safety knowledge, and excellent customer service. You will follow healthcare foodservice industry standards, regulations, and guidelines, including monitoring food temperatures during cooking, holding, and storage processes to avoid cross-contamination. You will also adhere to personal hygiene requirements and ensure proper labeling and storage of food products and equipment per facility guidelines.
