Kiewit is an employee-owned company deeply invested in the future of its people and the infrastructure of the nation. We are a key player in meeting growing construction demands across the country, fostering a culture of dedication and commitment to project success. Our Central District builds heavy civil and transportation projects, including highways, airports, mass transit systems, canals, dams, and tunnels. We also support site development and concrete portions for industrial projects like data centers, water treatment facilities, and power plants. With one of the largest equipment fleets in the region, we operate as a full-service construction team capable of self-performing mass grading, drainage, bridge construction, aggregate production, paving, rail, and utility construction.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction 3D Modeler to support our heavy civil and transportation survey and construction teams. This role is designed for a hands-on leader who acts as both a "player and a coach"—actively involved in modeling production while developing team capabilities and establishing standards across projects.
In this position, you will lead modeling efforts to support survey and construction operations across infrastructure projects in the central US region. Your work directly supports strategic initiatives that enhance AI data center capacity, energy reliability, and community resilience. You will be responsible for developing accurate, construction-ready 3D models, managing digital delivery workflows, and building a scalable modeling team. Your contribution is vital to delivering reliable, future-ready infrastructure, offering you the stability and diverse portfolio of EPC projects you are looking for.
This role is based in our Lone Tree office. While the position supports projects in various states, you can expect up to 20% travel for short durations. Travel may include states such as CO, MT, WY, ND, SD, IA, MN, NM, NE, KS, MO, MS, TN, and KY. The role involves field support, including visiting job sites to train personnel on model use and coordinate project needs. The typical work schedule is 40-60 hours per week based on project demands, with occasional weekend work required.
