Ready to take on meaningful challenges and shape the next generation of mobility? Joining OPmobility means stepping into a global group with a purpose to keep people and goods moving safely, smarter, and sustainably everywhere.
Founded in 1946 by Pierre Burelle, OPmobility (known until 2024 as Plastic Omnium) has transformed itself into a leading player in sustainable and connected mobility. Today, the company develops technological solutions across four key areas: exterior and lighting systems, complex module integration, energy storage and electrification technologies, and embedded software. With €11.5 billion in revenue, 152 factories, 40 R&D centers, and nearly 38,100 employees across 28 countries, OPmobility combines global scale with local impact, all driven by a shared ambition to accelerate the automotive energy transition.
You will join an international environment where cutting-edge technologies, industrial excellence, and real-world impact come together to tackle the challenges of tomorrow's automotive industry. Innovation is not just a buzzword here; it is a natural part of everyday work.
As a Product Design/CAD Engineer, you will be the guarantor of design deliverables, ensuring 3D models and drawings meet quality standards and defined deadlines. Your day-to-day will involve defining battery pack systems by balancing product functions, customer specifications, and manufacturing constraints to find the best technical and economic compromises. You will carry out critical studies, including stack-ups and mechanical calculations, integrating simulation results to justify design choices. Beyond individual component design, you will actively participate in developing new design tools, methods, and procedures to elevate the team's capabilities.
At OPmobility, people truly matter. We are committed to building inclusive teams, promoting diversity and equality, and ensuring that every application is considered fairly. We believe the future of mobility is built by diverse perspectives, bold ideas, and people who dare to move forward.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Selected candidates will be contacted for an initial screening followed by technical interviews and team fit discussions. Please ensure your application highlights your experience with CAD tools and battery pack design to help us assess your fit for this role.
