About the Role

As a Field Technician at Spectrum, you will be on the front lines of keeping people connected to what matters most. In this entry-level role, you will install and repair services, educate customers on their use, and solve technical challenges in a dynamic environment. No two days are the same; you will stay active working outdoors, utilizing hand tools in a variety of settings to overcome daily challenges.

We equip you with the training you need to succeed, offering on-the-job training, a Broadband Apprenticeship Program, and opportunities to earn industry-recognized certifications. This role is designed to help you build a long-term career, with clear pathways to progress from Field Technician I to IV, move into leadership positions, and increase your earnings through our self-progression program.

Working Conditions

Field Technicians work outdoors in various environments, often navigating changing weather conditions. The role involves walking over diverse terrains, climbing ladders up to 32 feet, working in confined spaces, and safely operating company vehicles. You will be expected to travel to customer premises, company facilities, and other locations as necessary, including during inclement weather.
