About the Role

As a Field Technician at Spectrum, you will be on the front lines of keeping people connected to what matters most. In this entry-level role, you will install and repair services, educate customers on their use, and solve technical challenges in a dynamic environment. No two days are the same; you will stay active working outdoors, utilizing hand tools in a variety of settings to overcome daily challenges.

This position is designed to equip you with the training needed to succeed and the opportunity to build a long-term career. You will receive support to build confidence and skills to solve complex technical issues, with access to on-the-job training, a career self-progression plan, and a Broadband Apprenticeship Program.

Working Conditions

Field Technicians work outdoors in a variety of environments, often navigating changing weather conditions. The role involves walking over various terrains, climbing ladders up to 32 feet, working in confined spaces, and safely operating company vehicles. You will be expected to lift up to 75 lbs and handle weight-bearing equipment up to 345 lbs while working with small components and wires.
