About the Role

As a Field Technician at Spectrum, you will be on the front lines of keeping people connected to what matters most. In this entry-level role, you will install and repair services, solve technical challenges, and educate customers on their use of Spectrum Internet, TV, Mobile, and Voice. No two days are the same; you will work outdoors in a dynamic environment, utilizing hand tools to navigate various terrains and weather conditions while building meaningful relationships with colleagues and customers.

We equip you with the training you need to succeed, offering on-the-job training, a Broadband Apprenticeship Program, and opportunities to earn industry-recognized certifications. This is more than just a job; it is a pathway to a long and rewarding career where you can progress from Field Technician I to Field Technician IV, with opportunities to move into leadership positions.

Working Conditions

Field Technicians work outdoors in a variety of environments, often traveling to customer premises, company facilities, and other locations as necessary. The role requires the ability to work in inclement weather, climb ladders up to 32 feet, work in confined spaces, and safely operate weight-bearing equipment. You will be expected to walk over various terrains, carry tools and equipment, and navigate a company vehicle in changing environments.
