This position serves as a hybrid System Analyst 3, combining the functions of a Business Analyst, Quality Assurance Analyst, and Scrum Master within an Agile team. The role is critical for gathering, documenting, and testing clear, unambiguous business requirements from the client. You will act as the bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that business needs are accurately translated into system functionality.
As the Scrum Master for your projects, you will heavily utilize Azure DevOps to manage the project lifecycle, coordinate with the PMO's Project Manager, and ensure all artifacts and documentation meet the standards required for State of Michigan projects. Your work will involve examining existing and future-state business processes, data, and systems to guide requirement gathering and execute test cases that validate desired system functionality.
This is a local role based in Lansing, MI. The ideal candidate must live within one hour of Lansing. The work model requires on-site presence on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for 8 hours per day, with no exceptions. To facilitate a smooth transition, the first month of employment will be a full-time on-site schedule (5 days per week) dedicated to onboarding.
