Key Responsibilities
- check_circleDevelop and implement data analytics solutions and BI tools to improve manufacturing efficiency and quality control
- check_circleDesign, build, and maintain data pipelines ensuring data integrity and performance across multiple manufacturing systems
- check_circleDevelop and maintain curated data models aligned with Medallion architecture and GM data standards
- check_circleBuild and deploy predictive models and advanced analytics solutions to support proactive decision-making
- check_circleDevelop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to plant teams
- check_circleCollaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex manufacturing needs into actionable analytics solutions
- check_circleSupport quick-turn analyses and visualizations for urgent manufacturing needs including launch support and issue triage
- check_circleDocument data sources, models, and reports while contributing to BI standards and governance practices
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field
- verifiedAdvanced proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and data modeling
- verifiedStrong proficiency in Power Query (M language) and DAX
- verifiedExperience with ETL processes and data transformation
- verifiedAbility to work with large datasets
- verifiedProficiency in SQL and related tools
- verifiedStrong understanding of data warehousing and Medallion architecture
- verifiedNo GM immigration sponsorship required
Nice to Have
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of proven experience in data analytics in a manufacturing or industrial setting. 3+ years of proven experience with end-to-end BI tool development. Experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools such as Power Apps. Experience with cloud computing and data platforms such as Databricks or similar technologies. Experience in developing and deploying predictive models to optimize manufacturing operations. Demonstrated ability to integrate analytics solutions into existing IT systems, MES, and operational workflows in manufacturing environments. Passion for staying updated with industry trends and applying innovative data and analytics solutions to enhance manufacturing efficiency and quality. Proven track record of delivering impactful insights and driving business decisions through data-driven approaches. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
