This position is based in our Food Enterprise, where we are committed to serving food manufacturers, food service customers, and retailers with a complete range of innovative ingredients and branded products. Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa, and chocolate.
The Business Development Representative plays a pivotal role in driving sales and revenue growth across new and existing market segments and channels. You will help shape business expansion strategies and provide critical input into the company's annual business development plans to reach key objectives. In this capacity, you will develop and implement business plans, working cross-functionally with marketing and technical teams to build and nurture relationships that drive revenue goals.
Your day-to-day involves collaborating with category marketing and R&D teams to deeply understand business requirements and market needs. You will pursue new market opportunities, calculating return on investment while prioritizing pipeline development activities. Additionally, you will monitor market development activities to ensure alignment with company business goals, recommending strategic adaptations as necessary. A key part of your mission is nurturing a select set of existing accounts to maintain and grow the business, solving moderately complex issues independently while escalating more complex challenges to appropriate staff.
