Founded in 1926, Maxor is a leading, independent pharmacy solutions platform dedicated to improving prescription drug affordability and outcomes. Over the decades, we have built a unique suite of clinically integrated services and technology offerings that deliver value to patients, payors, and providers across the pharmacy supply chain. We operate pharmacies and business sites across the United States, combining the stability of a Fortune 500 company with the energy and innovation of a startup.
As a Business Analyst in Pricing and Underwriting, you will serve as a critical bridge between data and strategic decision-making within our Specialty services. In this remote-based role, you will compile, analyze, and report on data to support pricing contracts, partnering cross-functionally with Underwriting, Finance, Clinical, and Account Management teams. Your work will directly influence how we assess the impact of client-driven changes and develop custom reports that inform daily operations and executive strategy.
You will utilize SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools to maintain and monitor Specialty pricing models, support financial forecasting, and contribute to strategic economic modeling. This position offers the opportunity to design robust queries across multiple systems, automate reporting to increase efficiency, and communicate complex analytical findings to varied audiences. You will be part of a mission-driven team where employees are recognized as our most valuable assets, finding fulfillment in meaningful work that impacts the entire pharmacy ecosystem.
At Maxor, we foster a diverse and progressive culture that promotes a work-from-home model and a "dress-for-your-day" approach. Our team-oriented environment encourages collaboration and innovation, offering limitless career possibilities within a growing workforce of 1,500+ professionals. We provide a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits designed to support your well-being, including mental health resources, a company-matched 401(k), and an industry-leading PTO plan.
Candidates selected for this role will be invited to participate in a series of interviews designed to assess technical proficiency, cultural fit, and strategic thinking. The process typically includes an initial screening with the recruiting team, followed by a technical deep-dive into your analytical capabilities and experience with PBM data structures. Final rounds involve meeting with key stakeholders from the Pricing, Underwriting, and Finance departments to discuss your approach to problem-solving and collaboration. Successful candidates will receive a formal offer detailing compensation and benefits.
