We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to lead the procurement and implementation of a new Learning Management System (LMS) for a public safety training institution. This role is critical to ensuring the selected platform integrates seamlessly with existing systems, supports complex operational workflows, and meets strict compliance and reporting requirements.
In this position, you will serve as the bridge between business needs and technical execution. You will work closely with the project manager and a diverse group of stakeholders—including instructors, operations staff, IT personnel, compliance officers, and leadership—to analyze current processes and define future-state workflows. Your work will translate high-level business goals into clear, actionable requirements that guide vendor selection and system configuration.
Your day will involve facilitating workshops and interviews to gather input from various departments, ensuring that all operational and training needs are captured. You will map current processes to identify inefficiencies and design optimized future-state workflows that account for shift-based work environments and certification mandates. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to analyzing system integrations, defining data flows, and collaborating with technical teams to assess feasibility. You will also play a key role in the procurement process, helping to evaluate vendor proposals and supporting organizational change management to ensure a smooth adoption of the new system.
