About the Role
Shift Leaders are the backbone of our restaurant operations, trained to perform all duties of Team Members while stepping up to direct daily operations in the absence of the Restaurant General Manager and Assistant Manager. This role is vital for ensuring compliance with company standards across product preparation, customer relations, maintenance, and team management. You will set the tone for the shift, ensuring your team provides outstanding service and that guests leave satisfied.
In this position, you will utilize GPS Hospitality Systems to run a great restaurant every shift. You are expected to maintain a high level of proficiency in restaurant operations, serving as a role model for your team. Your day involves coaching and providing feedback to staff, supervising in accordance with GPS values, and demonstrating strong problem-solving skills to address any challenges that arise. You will also be responsible for enforcing cash policies and documenting any violations.
