About the Role
As a Home Performance Field Technician, you will bring your passion for sustainability to work by performing visual inspections, diagnostic testing, and data collection for single-family homes. Your work ensures these homes meet various energy and green certifications, including Energy Star, NGBS, and LEED for Homes. You will inspect new residential buildings for code compliance and energy-efficient construction features, perform diagnostic testing for whole-house and duct leakage, and communicate directly with home builders and trades to help them meet their energy efficiency goals. This role offers the opportunity to start and stop from home, with a company vehicle and equipment provided.

Requirements

Nice to Have
Experience with iOS, Adobe Acrobat, MS Excel, and energy modeling software. 5+ years of licensed driving experience. OSHA 10 certification. HERS Rater, RFI, and/or NGBS Green Verifier designation. High Performance residential construction experience (BPI, RESNET).
