Building Operator

About the Role

As a Building Operator within the Maintenance, Campus Environment & Physical Plant department, you will serve as a vital link in keeping our Health Science Campus facilities safe, functional, and welcoming. Under the general supervision of an appropriate Manager, this role is dedicated to the skilled operation and maintenance of complex building systems, including HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and steam infrastructure.

Your day-to-day impact involves performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to ensure the highest levels of building safety, cleanliness, and organization. You will be responsible for the upkeep of assigned buildings, grounds, storage areas, and equipment, ensuring that all services and vehicles are maintained to operational standards. This position requires a hands-on approach to general housekeeping and maintenance, ensuring that the physical environment supports the health and well-being of everyone on campus.
