About the Role

This role serves as a pivotal link between technical assessment and client success, leading and performing technical assessments of commercial buildings while managing the full client lifecycle from proposal through final deliverables and invoicing.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleSupport business development initiatives including client relationship management and proposal strategy
- check_circlePerform onsite building envelope consulting, diagnostic assessments, and moisture intrusion surveys
- check_circleConduct failure investigations and coating condition assessments for commercial buildings
- check_circleCoordinate building inspection staff and review their reports and client deliverables for accuracy
- check_circleWrite technical reports including scopes of work, specifications, and remediation recommendations
- check_circleManage project assignments to ensure delivery on time, on scope, and within budget
- check_circlePrepare responsive proposals that address client needs and building envelope problems
- check_circleCoordinate with peers, engineering firms, and building owners to determine root causes of issues
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Architecture, Building Science, Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline
- verifiedTechnical experience in building science principles and commercial building maintenance
- verifiedExperience with Microsoft Office, blueprint reading, and math
- verifiedValid driver's license and reliable transportation
- verifiedAbility to travel 30-50%
- verifiedAutoCad and Bluebeam proficiency (preferred)
- verifiedProfessional engineering or architectural license (ideal)
- verifiedRegistered Roof Observer, AMPP coatings credentials, or LEED credentials (desired)
Nice to Have
AutoCad and Bluebeam proficiency. Professional engineering or architectural license. Registered Roof Observer (RRO), Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP) coatings credentials, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) credentials.
