MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center is a Level II Trauma center that has faithfully served the community since 1893. About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to join our leading breast care team as a fellowship-trained, Board Certified/Board Eligible Breast Surgeon. You will collaborate within a multidisciplinary program to advance a well-established statewide cancer program, delivering innovative surgical care to the community.

You will partner in maintaining a comprehensive breast surgical service at the MercyOne Katzmann Breast Care Center, the region's first dedicated breast health center. The role involves utilizing advanced breast surgery techniques, including oncoplastic, nipple-sparing, and Hidden Scar procedures. You will work alongside navigators, advanced practitioners, and certified lymphedema therapists, supported by state-of-the-art imaging and access to clinical trials. Additionally, you will serve as a General Surgery Residency Faculty member.
