The Division features full-time Medical Oncology Inpatient Providers during the week, with outpatient APP support available. Faculty are expected to cover inpatient duties on weekends.
UNMCCC is excited to introduce new and expanded services to New Mexico through its current expansion project. This includes the state's only radiotherapy MR Linear Accelerator, which allows for real-time imaging during treatment to improve precision medicine. The project also provides a new cGMP laboratory to expand bone marrow transplant and cell-based therapy programs, along with increased treatment space for targeted radioisotope theragnostics. Most of these new services are not offered anywhere else in New Mexico.
