About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Blue Yonder (BY) WMS Techno Functional Consultant to join the Production Sustain team. This role is designed for a professional with deep hands-on experience in Blue Yonder WMS (2023 versions preferred) who can bridge the gap between complex warehouse operations and technical system execution.
The ideal candidate possesses a unique blend of strong functional warehouse management knowledge and solid technical expertise. You will independently assess, analyze, identify, and resolve production incidents, ensuring the stability and efficiency of the warehouse management ecosystem. This position requires a high degree of autonomy and frequent onsite presence at our facility in Plano, TX, to work directly with warehouse operations teams.
Day in the Life
Your work will span both strategic design and tactical execution. You will serve as the subject matter expert for Blue Yonder WMS, translating business and operational requirements into robust functional and technical solutions. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to configuring and customizing BY WMS components, ranging from inbound and outbound logistics to inventory management, replenishment, and labor management.
You will also design and review critical interfaces and integrations with ERP systems (such as SAP and Oracle), TMS platforms, and automation systems like conveyors and ASRS. Beyond configuration, you will support upgrades, patches, and new feature rollouts while providing production support, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.
A key differentiator of this role is the direct engagement with the warehouse floor. You will conduct onsite visits to understand real-world operational processes, lead requirement-gathering workshops, and support UAT, cutover activities, and go-lives. By troubleshooting issues directly on the warehouse floor and partnering with supply chain, operations, and IT teams, you will drive tangible improvements in warehouse efficiency and throughput.
Hiring Process

The selection process will focus on verifying hands-on experience with the 2023 versions of the software and the ability to lead full lifecycle implementations, from design and build to test and deploy.
