About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Electronic Technician to join our team. In this position, you will build, calibrate, test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and electronic components, circuits, assemblies, and systems. The role is designed for individuals who possess strong organizational skills and can perform effectively under pressure with minimal supervision.
Day-to-Day Impact
You will be responsible for fabricating and repairing components per applicable drawings and specifications. A key part of your day involves conducting environmental tests, such as temperature, vibration, and shock tests, on both components and completed assemblies. You will collaborate closely with Design Engineers and Field Engineers to build and test prototype systems and mock-ups.
Beyond technical execution, you will play a mentorship role by informing Assemblers of problems found during checkout and calibration, training them to correct quality deficiencies, and providing assistance to less experienced Electronics Technicians as needed.
Certification Requirement
To perform work within our Part 145 Repair Station, you must be able to obtain an FAA Part 145 Repairman’s Certificate.
