The OEM Technician I is an entry-level, hands-on electronics repair position based at our Service Repair Center in Irvine, CA. This role is designed for individuals who enjoy working with electronic devices, troubleshooting hardware issues, and learning OEM product repair within a professional laboratory setting.
This is a lab-based technical position, distinct from customer-service-only roles or general IT help desk jobs. As a Technician, you will test, evaluate, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair OEM products while strictly adhering to service manuals, repair procedures, documentation requirements, and Quest's quality standards. The ideal candidate possesses mechanical and electronic aptitude, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to follow documented repair steps accurately.
We are seeking candidates with practical hands-on experience with electronics. While professional OEM repair experience is beneficial, it is not required. We welcome those with experience repairing or troubleshooting consumer devices, gaming systems, phones, tablets, computers, small electronics, cables, and connectors. What matters most is a genuine interest in solving technical problems, working at a repair bench, and building a career in electronics repair.

Prior OEM product repair experience. Experience in a service repair center, depot repair, electronics repair, biomedical repair, or technical bench repair environment. Experience working in ISO, OEM, quality-controlled, or regulated repair environments. Experience participating in OEM training, certifications, or device-specific repair programs. Familiarity with ERP, ticketing, or repair documentation systems.
