As a Remote Billing EDI Analyst II, you will be a key partner in ensuring member eligibility is correct, up-to-date, and accurately loaded in our systems. This role focuses on the critical HIPAA transaction 835, working directly with payers to validate the quality and appropriate outcomes of EDI transmissions.
You will serve as a bridge between technical data and business stakeholders, conveying updates on issues and project status while maintaining payer and vendor confidence in Labcorp. The position requires a proactive approach to identifying problems within established timeframes, determining their impact, and communicating effective solutions to roadblocks. You will interact and collaborate with team members at all levels, from senior management to operational staff, building strong working relationships both over the phone and through email.
Your day-to-day involves supporting internal department projects, maintaining accurate documentation such as logs and reports, and developing process materials (SOPs) that are easily understood by end users. You will extract and validate information from multiple system sources, troubleshoot inquiries, and follow up to ensure problems are resolved in a timely manner. This is a hybrid role requiring the ability to work independently while thriving in a team environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
All job offers are based on a candidate's skills, prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, internal equity, and market data. The application window for this position closes on June 5, 2026.
