As a Remote Billing EDI Analyst II, you will be a key part of our team working with payers to ensure member eligibility is correct, up-to-date, and loaded in the system. This role focuses on the critical HIPAA transaction 835, ensuring the quality and appropriate outcomes of EDI transmissions.
You will work independently and collaboratively to identify problems within established timeframes, determine their impact, and communicate solutions to roadblocks. Your day will involve maintaining payer and vendor confidence in Labcorp, building strong working relationships over the phone and through email, and supporting internal department projects. You will also be responsible for developing process and documentation materials that are easily understood by end users, such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
